The “Big Pedal” is still going Stukeley is doing really well. As of Monday 10th March we are in 185 place out of 1000 schools. We have a total of 13,277 points and 38% of the school are actively taking part. Our own inter-school competition has been won by year 1, although year 3 and year 4 were close behind. Therefore on Thursday the year 1 children will have a cycling/scooter treat. We hope that as many year 1 children will be able to take part. The “Big Pedal” continues until Friday 14th March. Keep wheeling!!!
Grounds Morning Three!
Following on from the last two external Grounds Days, the third was based inside the building.. and what a difference was made. A new library space was created, the toilets all got a splash of colour, the outdoor areas were spruced up, corridors were lightened and the children got all art and crafty! Many thanks to all who volunteered!
The “Big Pedal” which started on Monday 3rd March is now well underway. The whole school is able to participate by coming to school on either their bike or scooter. This is a national event and on Tuesday 4th March we were in position 237. This is with 33% of our pupils taking part. We really want to increase our ranking so over the next few days can you please encourage your child to bike or scooter to school (it doesn’t need to be for the whole journey).
The “Big Pedal” bear is visiting the classes who have the most children taking part:
On Monday he visited Mrs Case’s class and on Tuesday he was with Mrs Smith/Mrs Peake and with Mrs Case.
The event will continue until Friday 14th March. Keep pedalling!!!
