We talked around poppies, remembrance and armistice in the lead up to tomorrow!

We entered a ‘B’ team in the HDPSFA Alconbury tournament and won! (on goal difference but still a win!)

Several girls attended the FA Girls Football Festival in St Ives – an action-packed morning!

We had more families looking round with a view to children starting Stukeley in September 2018!

We had a FOSMS non-uniform day to get the tombola stocked ready for the Festive Fair!

All clubs launched – with our best ever mix including tiddlywinks, carpet bowls and maypole dancing!

We talked about ‘trick or treat’ and ‘bonfire night’ safety to all children!

Flu Vaccinations were the order of the day for many Foundation/1/2/3/4 children!

Year Six families attended a SATs Information Evening!

Year 5/6 gave our new footy kit its debut in a Priory Football tournament – the lads did brilliantly!

We welcomed the first raft of families who may be joining us in September 2018!

We started getting a *bit* Christmassy (eeeeek!) with our FOSMS Christmas Card Project!

Many of our Year Sixes have been on the annual residential trip to Kingswood for the week!

The remaining Year Sixes have been up to allsorts….. cooking, in the forest school and midst construction!

We’ve had a specialist dance teacher in to deliver sports sessions (while Mr Partridge has been away)!

Mr Whatley (dressed as Caveman Dave) gained much twitter attention, thanks to the Phonics Fairy!

The Year Twos gave the Meadows Maypole its first few attempts!

Foundation Stage enjoyed learning about ‘Diwali’, the Hindu festival of light!

Lighting was installed in our Outdoor Library!

Foundation families came in for their first meetings with teachers!

Families flocked into school for Open Afternoon/Evening to see their children’s learning thus far!

The Oak Leaf Book Shop opened its doors – and began accepting the new fifty shilling notes!

Clubs aplenty were signed up for – ready for kick off after half term!

Key Stage Two joined together for Sharing and our second Harvest Festival – thank you for the donations!

Year Five took their ‘Extreme Earth’ learning down to the Stukeley Forest Fire Pit!

All children looked ‘Stukeley Smart’ and had their photographs taken!

The Stukeley Parliament reconvened and named our chickens (before Mr Whatley got involved)!

We had a bumper Thursday for school dinners!

Everyone dressed in green to raise money for Cerebal Palsy awareness day!

Foundation Stage joined Years One and Two for our first Harvest Festival – thank you for the donations!

FOSMS biennial ‘Kids On The Catwalk’ was great fun and kicked off the year’s events!

Mrs Boswell talked to the school about ‘Languages Week’ in assembly!

Grandparents galore came into Stukeley for lunch – so lovely to have family members in!

Mrs Stephens ran Family Phonics Workshops to ensure our children are getting the best reading start!

The Stukeley Shilling Shop opened its doors for children to cash in their school currency!

We raised money for Macmillan with our annual Coffee Morning for staff and families!

A building started to go up on the edge of our playground – giving us more playtime options!

Mr Whatley talked the school through coding in National Coding Week!

Foundation Stage had their first full week – they’ll all sleep well tonight (as will the staff!)

We wore ‘Jeans for Genes’ to raise money for charity!

We won our heat in the Cambs Y6 English Challenge, hosted at Thongsley Fields Primary!

We celebrated our learning through our first Y1/2 Sharing Assembly of the year – roll on the rest!

Our fabulous Foundation Stagers began their Stukeley journey – lots of smiley, excited faces all round!

Year Six went to Duxford to kick off their WWII theme!

We welcomed hundreds of families in for our Partnership meetings – starting the year as a team!

The Oak Leaf Book Shop opened it’s famous doors for the first time this year, with new stock aplenty!

Carol started her Tuesday Science Shelter sessions – this week, Year Three made pancakes!

We started back at school after the summer break, ready for another jam-packed year!

The Foundation Staff home-visited all of our new recruits – they start with us on Monday!

Our new catering provision launched with a delicious menu and new equipment aplenty!

We began ‘boot-camping’ many every day expectations, focusing on silent corridors and assembly entering!

We kicked off our Year Group twitter accounts – who will get the most followers?

We started to explore the new buidlings that have popped up around school over the summer!

We welcomed children and families (starting in September) to some Foundation taster sessions!

Year Five went for walks to Cromwell Museum, following on from their ‘hunts’ last week…!

We visited a school in London to look at how they do things differently (and to borrow ideas)!

Reports and new class details were sent out to all families!

Year One took a trip to Stanwick Lakes and had a brilliant day!

Mr Parters’s held ‘run-offs’ ready for next Friday’s Sports Day extravganza!

Our netballers finished third in the annual Longsands High Fives tournament!

We spoke to ‘Hunts In Bloom’ judges about Stukeley’s role in all community intiatives!

Year Six dress-rehearsed their ‘Time-Warped’ production ready for next week’s perfomances!

FOSMS prepped up for the final event of the year – Inflatable Fun!
