Welcome from Georgina Priddle, Family Support Worker, at Stukeley Meadows Primary School.

I am here five days a week, and my role is to support you as parents and your children. I know that being a parent is one of the most important jobs in the world, but it can also be one of the toughest as family life can often be challenging and demanding. Sometimes you may feel like you want some extra help, support or advice but you don’t know which way to turn… well I am here to help! My role in school is quite varied and I have a wide range of skills and experience therefore I hope you will find that I will be able to offer you the help and support you need, if not I will be able to signpost you to the right support. I am based in the Inclusion Room at the heart of the school. This is a room for use with parents, children, families and hosts meetings, both formal and informal.

At Stukeley Meadows we work in a non-judgmental way as we know that families come in all shapes and sizes.

Examples of some of the areas I can support you with:

Housing and money worries

Family issues, bereavement, new baby, parental separation/divorce

New starts and settling in

Parenting skills

Child behavior and establishing routines
